2024年2月からハワイの空港駐車場料金値上げへ

マウイ島のカフルイ空港
カウアイ島のリフエ空港
ハワイ島のヒロ国際空港
ケアホールのエリソン・オニヅカ・コナ国際空港

の駐車料金を2月1日から値上げすると発表しました。
2月から、上記空港の駐車場料金は、

1日あたりの最大料金は15ドルから24ドルへと9ドルアップ
月額料金は160ドルから189ドルへと29ドルの値上げとなる見込みです。

新料金

カフルイ空港、リフエ空港、ヒロ国際空港、エリソン・オニヅカ・コナ国際空港の新料金は以下の通り：

1日あたり、15ドルから24ドルに上昇します。

The Hawaii Department of Transportation recently announced that parking rates will soon increase, beginning Feb. 1, for Kahului Airport on Maui, Lihue Airport on Kauai, as well as Hilo International Airport and Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole on Hawaii Island.Following the change, the maximum daily charge will increase $9, from $15 to $24 per day. The monthly rate will jump $29, from $160 to $189 per month, according to the announcement.
HDOT anticipates a subsequent reduction in demand at the airports, according to the announcement.

ちなみに、ホノルルのダニエル・K・イノウエ国際空港は既に値上げがされており、
現在は、1日あたり24ドルとなっております。
また、2027年まで段階的に値上げを予定しております。（

駐車料金については、東京23区内の駅前の場合、もっと高いケースがあります。

羽田空港の国際ターミナルの場合

通常期：1,530円
繁忙期：2,140円（駐車してから最大3日間に適用）

となりますので、
やはり米国の駐車場料金も高いと言えます。
